Job Location: Comox Valley // Job Type: Full Time

Boru Carpentry & Design Ltd. is looking for honest, committed individuals who take pride in their work, including forming, framing, structural repairs, decks, fences, pergolas, staircases, through to interior custom finishing, fittings and architectural features.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate must be able to deliver quality workmanship, as well as direct crews and work with both sub-trades and clients in a professional manner. Candidate must be willing to travel throughout the Comox Valley, from Campbell River to Fanny Bay, and anywhere in between. 

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years experience in the carpenter trade

  • Driver’s license and own transportation (initially)

  • Knowledge of building foundations, framing and finishing

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints

  • Interpersonal Skills in working with crew, sub-trades and clients

  • Knowledge in BC Building Code

  • Foreman or project management experience would be an asset

Benefits

  • $35-45 per hour (dependant on level of knowledge and experience)

  • Extended Benefits - effective after one month

  • Potential for work company vehicle after probation period
